NOT SURE ABOUT COUNSELLING?
If you've never been for counselling before then making your first appointment can be a big step. Some of my clients have told me that it took them six months to pluck up the courage to call and make an appointment. If you have any doubts or questions then just send an email or give me a call and I'll be happy to set your mind at rest.
Our first session will be a chance for you to ask any further questions and also get a feel for how I work. If you don't feel comfortable then there is no obligation to continue with further sessions.
If you are embarrassed about coming for counselling then be re-assured that no one else needs to know about your appointments.
Increasing numbers of people are finding that counselling can help them. You may just need a few sessions to help you come to terms with a failing relationship or make decisions about life changes. On the other hand you may need long term support in working through the emotions relating to childhood abuse or in overcoming long term depression.
